Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of teacher motivation and performance on student learning outcomes in elementary school YPK Betlehem Tahuna, North Sulawesi. The background of this research based on the crucial role of teachers as a primary factor in determining the success of the learning process at the elementary level. High teacher motivation and optimal performance are believed to create a conductive learning environment, thereby improving student learning outcomes.


This research employs quantitative approach using a survey method. The population includes all teachers and students. Data were collected using questionnaires to measure teacher motivation and performance, as well as student academic records to assess learningoutcomes. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine both partial and simultaneous effect.


The result indicate that teacher motivation and performancehas a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes.These finding confirm that enhancing teacher motivation and performance should be a primary focus in effort to improve the quality of education in elementary schools.
